For the best coffee around I would recommend this café. They use little rebel beans and the owner Sammy always makes you feel right at home there. They approx 3 kilometres away in Tarwin Lower (which you will drive past when you come into town), and serve up a mean breakfast or lunch.

The chef Jordy and his wife Linda are very hospitable and the food is always delicious 🤤
Excellent food and only approximately a 5 minute walk from the house. The menu is seasonal however includes a wood fire pizza menu along with a full menu offering tapas style dishes and classic Australian pub fare.

Recommendations under this category are a good hour (roughly) from Melbourne and great to stretch the legs and enjoy. I would recommend them on you way either to Venus Bay or on the way home.
