My Personal Favourite Beaches :
Pema e thatë - hidden at the end of a bumpy, gravel road. The road leading to the beach might not be the best when it comes to low cars, but the beach itself is perfect for kids. The water is shallow, even 50m from the shore! There are cafes and a pizzeria. Quite reasonable prices. Clear water. A Must See! Shouldn't be missed!
Ksamil Islands - could be considered as the most popular beach in Saranda/Ksamil. Great for kids. From the shore, you can look at the 3 islands laying ahead of you. You could take a private boat to visit them ( they as well provide great views and beaches )
Plazhi I Manastirit - crystal clean waters at any time of the day. Gravel beach with amazing views of natural beauties.
Plazhi Paradise - nice beach with great infrastructure. could get crowded. Sandy beach with parking + restaurants and bars.
Plazhi Bora Bora - beach with fine sand and clean waters. I recommend getting there early in the morning if you wish to reserve a sunbed at the first line. Great for kids, but it tends to get noisy due to its popularity.
Gjiri I Hartës - Good place. One can jump into water from hights. Water attraction for kids. Very big restaurant with delicious local delicacy. They have clean toilet, showers, changing rooms.+ Clean waters and organized beach. Could get overcrowded.
Pulëbardha Beach -Crystal clear water, one of the most beautiful beaches in southern Albania. It is called Pulebardha Beach ( Eng Transition: Seagull Beach ) because there are many seagulls there. It's close to 'Pasqyra Beach'(Mirrors Beach). Kid-friendly!
Lori Beach - Very nice beach, sand and shallow water - ideal for kids. Very affordable prices at only 400 lek(- 3.3€) sunbeds+umbrella

Getting Around !
Getting around is easy in Saranda, as everything is within walking distance. However some sights or places require a vehicle to get to. Here we recommend using public transportation:
[bus] ( which is not only extremely affordable - at only 1$/person , but also consistent and safe )
