Wikipedia - Seymour Arm, known historically also as Ogdensville or Ogden City and Seymour, is an unincorporated area and former town located at the head of the inlet of the same name on Shuswap Lake in British Columbia, Canada.
Located at the mouth of the Seymour River, adjacent to Silver Beach Provincial Park, and functioning as the disembarkation point for trails over passes across the Monashee Mountains connecting that river's valley to that of the Columbia River, and navigable by water from Savona at the farther end of Kamloops Lake.
It is also the home of the biggest outdoor canabis grow operation in Canadian History - before it was legal of course!

Larch Hills is one of the Shuswap's local wineries. It is a land-based, family run vineyard and winery, owned by Jack Manser. All of their products are proudly made from 100% British Columbia grapes, either from their own vineyard just south of Salmon Arm, or from contracted vineyards farther south in the Okanagan Valley. And if you like dogs, the winery dog Ragnar is a big beautiful and friendly Great Pyrenees that is always open to attention. Take an opportunity to walk into their vineyards and appreciate the valley view or ask for a tour.

If you want to explore some different trails, you can enter from the Balmoral Trail Head off of Balmoral Road. The trails from here connect to the MacArthur Heights Trail system. Make sure you are prepared as some of the trails may be steep and this is the forest after all - you may encounter wildlife as well.

Copper Island is the only island in the Shuswap!! Why wouldn't you like it? And if you have the means to get there and can anchor or beach your boat, there is a hike to the top that will give you 360 degree views. If you are not into a hike, the West side of the island is popular for boaters and swimmers to just float. Or, you can cliff jump into the deep waters. Take note how ever of the water depth and where locals are jumping from.

Copper Island is the only island in the Shuswap!! Why wouldn't you like it? If you are not into a hike, the West side of the island is popular for boaters and swimmers to just float. Or, you can cliff jump into the deep waters. Take note how ever of the water depth and where locals are jumping from.
Shuswap Marina has boats, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and all sorts of water craft to rent for a day out on the water.
