Dayboro to our north is a lovely little village and great for a day trip. Check out the bakery, fantastic little butcher, ice cream and a amazing authentic Italian Pizza place.

Johnny's is the best Italian pizza in the valley, it's a small take away shop that always does a roaring trade, you can bring it back to Emile Henri, or drop into the lovely park by the river just south of Dayboro township. Open from 4:30pm, every day except Monday.

Amazing little hidden Patisserie in the IGA complex at Samford, it only a 15min drive to the south, and is easily on of the best destinations for those of us with a sweet tooth. They also do a great coffee and have plenty of seats to stay, or get it to go and enjoy in the park down the street. They also have a large selection of gluten free and other special cakes for those with dietary requirements.

Sightseeing
Love walking this area, with heaps of long wide trails, great for waling, or mountain biking as well. If you dont know area make sure you photograph map at entry to walks before you head in. Trails all kept in pretty good condition especially the more used ones. I park at iron bark gully which has toilets and picnic area. Well worth the visit.

A local winery with a restaurant and function centre. A great destination for a day trip, with some amazing views north to the glasshouse mountains available from the lookouts on the way.

Great place for trail running, biking and hiking on the fire trails. Wallabies can been seen in the gullies and a lots of great spots by the lake.
