Food Scene

Walk down to Diamond bay Reserve and then take the path on the left to go for a walk. The cafe in on the main road but take the ocean walk rather than taking Old South Head Road the whole way. I suggest getting a coffee and a pastry or getting some bread to make toast back at home for your stay (a loaf will last). They do good pies and classic sydney breakkie - Avo and toast and eggs etc. I personally get a large flat white macadamia milk. Why not continue walking to Watson's Bay and get a drink at Watson's Bay Hotel and Fish and Chips at Doyles. Get a bus back up the hill.

Drinks & Nightlife

This is at Bondi Beach so fairly close. I don't really go there but it is good for a visitor but mainly on weekends. I prefer the back streets in Bondi but the places won't be on the beach. My vibe is more Bikini Bar on Hall st. Get a spot outside and people watch. You feel like you are in Bali. Or go to Beach Road Hotel for a true local drink. Bucket List has a lot of out of towners and a little more sceney. So it depends what you like. If you are willing to travel, my favourite pub in Sydney is in Newtown and called The Courthouse. All sorts there which I love. The nicer, more english type pubs/bars are in Paddington. Text me what you like and I will give suggestions.

Great view. You can walk from mine downhill for about 30min but maybe get a bus back. Food is okay and it isn't cheap but get a drink and maybe a nice seafood lunch at Doyles next door.

Parks & Nature

Bondi is obvious and go there plus Clovelly and any beach in Sydney really. You can also get the ferry to Manly from Watson's Bay (down the road). But I really like the Harbour beaches and the walks near by. So I would give those a go. It is this unique balance of beach and city views. Neilson Park is my fav. You can walk there from mine and get a bus back up the hill. Or get an Uber pool for $5. Take my esky and chair if you like. While there, take a walk and you will get stunning views of the Harbour icons. The cafe at Neilson park )which is actually a bay) has good coffee and sandwiches so you don't need to bring much. Plus they have beer.

15 min walk from my place. It has an epic view of the Harbour and all icons. Take the Federation Walk to get there. I suggest go at sunset and get some wine. You won't get a better view of Sydney Harbour as a whole.

Entertainment & Activities

Bondi has good shops and food if you don't want to go too far. There are so many places in Sydney with great food but I am trying to keep it close by. My fav is Bangkok Bites (BYO) for good value Thai. Mammasan for a little more upmarket Asian fusion is great. If you want Italian or something specific and wouldn't mind travelling, I am a foodie so have loads of suggestions. You can't go too wrong though in Bondi. Just text me

Sightseeing

You must see the icons so maybe get a drink at Opera Bar at night. I prefer the city outlook at night. You don't need to get up close in all honesty
