A 260m stroll up Bluff Road, Look At Me Now Headland walk is an easy 1.6km loop walk with fabulous panoramic views far out to sea, a lookout and beach access. This is a prime whale-watching viewpoint from June to November, with eastern grey kangaroos and stunning birdlife throughout the year. Take a picnic lunch or evening sundowners and soak in the view, or learn about the history of this area along this section of the Solitary Islands Walking Track. Look At Me Now Headland is an important Aboriginal site of deep significance to local Gumbaynggirr people.

Solitary Islands Surf School (0438 561 370) offer daily lessons to both kids and adults. Depending on the conditions you can also go to Woolgoolga, Sawtell or Darlington Beach (Arrawarra) for lessons for first timers through to more experienced surfers.

Solitary Islands Coastal Walk

The Solitary Islands coastal walk links a string of idyllic golden beaches, rocky headlands and lush rainforest along the Coffs Coast, 60km between Red Rock and Sawtell. Head 5.5km south to Moonee Beach or 15.4km north past Fidderman and Sandy Beach to Woolgoolga (3-3.5hrs).
