Other great areas close by to explore are Carlton North- it’s a 10 min walk from the apartment down Rathdowne street and there’s a lovely grocery shop called Clay there. If you pop ‘Clay health & organics’ into google maps then it will take you to ‘Rathdowne village’ which has lots of other nice little shops and cafes to explore.

If you pop ‘Clay health & organics’ into google maps then it will take you to ‘Rathdowne village’ which has lots of other nice little shops and cafes to explore.
Another good area to explore is Fitzroy north which is about a 15 /20 min walk along the bike path. There’s lots of lovely little shops and cafes there too. If you put Piedemontes into google maps that will take you to the main area of Fitzroy north. Piedemontes is just a little supermarket but it will help you find that general area. Maps might take you a different route but if you head left along the bike path (if you have your back to the apartment block) then it’s a really pleasant walk.

Another good area to explore is Fitzroy north which is about a 15 /20 min walk along the bike path. There’s lots of lovely little shops and cafes there too. Brunswick East’s restaurants, cafes and shops are all clustered along Lygon Street, and start a 1 minute walk outside the apartment front door. There’s plenty of variety on the dense one-kilometre stretch between Brunswick Road and Blyth Street, including elegant wine bars, Italian eateries, Melbourne’s best American barbeque joint, burgers galore and plenty of ice cream/ gelato choices! This makes for an excellent atmosphere as people spill out onto the pavements.
