Bar Carrero is a 10 minute walk from the apartment and serves the most lovely Tapas and probably the best Spanish Tortilla on the coast I have tasted it many times. The bar also does good drinks and is very reasonable.

They play music on Sundays but be aware if you want a sunbed book in advance to avoid disappointment. The food and cocktails are amazing. People who are 'in the know' have been known to come as far as Madrid to see certain live bands play here. It is my favourite bar on the coast by far.

They play music on Sundays but be aware if you want a sunbed book in advance to avoid disappointment. The food and cocktails are amazing. People who are 'in the know' have been known to come as far as Madrid to see certain live bands play here. It is my favourite bar on the coast by far.
Parks & Nature
There has been a stunning hiking trail that runs alongside a river in the hills on the way to Benahavis. There are also lagoons you can swim in with turtles. It is truly outstanding and a 10-15 min drive.

La Resina Golf and Country Club is a double 9 hole course only a 10 minute walk or a 2 minute drive. The first hole is what you see from the balcony from terrace of the apartment. They hire clubs and buggies so just turn up and play. Fees are very reasonable.

Selwo can be walked to in 25 minutes or a 4 minute drive. The apartment is located off the N340 turn off for Selwo. Here you will find all types of African Animals, Birds, Monkeys and is a great day out for the family.

Sol buggies is a 5 minute drive away and they offer buggy tours up the mountains with different kinds of packages i.e.e 1/2 day full day and Lunch is included. Tour the mountains behind Estepona and see the most wonderful sites on a buggy. The Buggies carry 2 people and you need your driving licence.

Getting Around
This is the best place to use for Taxis in Estepona they will be to you in 10 minutes and will be around 15€ to get to the centre of Estepona or Marbella.

There is a bus that runs the length of the coast both East and West along the N340 and can be picked at the bottom of the road near that leads up to Selwo Adventura.

This is another of my favourite restaurants and only a 5 minute drive from the apartment. Music is played on a live piano and the food and atmosphere is stunning. You are right next to the sea making this an ideal place.
