Sightseeing
Joshua Tree National Park is an amazing place for sightseeing, exploring, hiking, rock climbing and just relaxing. For the first time visitors I recommend nature trail in the junction rock area, which is an easy loop trail, very scenic. Also Barker Dam trail is an easy enjoyable trail for first time visitors. Keys View, is a great place of panoramic view of the entire desert all the way down to San Diego. If you want a longer hike, Lost Horse Trail is a good one as well.
