Catalina State Park

20-minute drive; A true desert oasis. Water flows through Sabino Creek and pools among the rocks during the summer and winter rainy seasons. Walk or jog on the 7-mile road through the canyon, or hike one of the off-road trails. Hop on or off the tram. The bridges and dams along Sabino Creek were built by the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and Civilian Conservation Corporation (CCC) during the Great Depression.
