This is a great day trip for eclectic shopping, dining, golf and hiking. Sedona is truly out-of-this-world scenic and a must if you've never been (and you have time). About 1.5 hours from Twin Palms.

We like to go here for authentic Mexican food, especially on a budget. Sot of a cross between Mexican takeout and casual dine-in with an outdoor patio and circular bar with outside seating. They claim to have the best Margaritas around and we agree - they are priced right too! Just a short drive from Twin Palms.

You absolutely must make reservations far in advance any time of year. (You must book on their website - they aren't on Open Table.
