Caribou/Munroes Island Provincial Park
2119 Three Brooks RdFrom the starting point on the Condon Road in Scotsburn (N45 39.161 W62 51.250), the Durham Hill section of the Cape to Cape Trail heads in an easterly direction on the abandoned Short Line Railway that is now known as the Jitney Trail in reference to the passenger train that used to travel between Pictou and Oxford Junction.

This beautiful broad, white sand beach is a peninsula off the Pictou Landing First Nations Reserve. Parking lot right at the edge of the beach. Breathtaking views, just don't forget to spray yourself with mosquito repellent!

A perfect place to spend a whole summer day with family and friends. The beach is long with numerous picnic tables, sand and grass to sit on. There are many shaded areas to sit at too. The water was clear and a perfect temperature. The parking lot is large and there are flush toilets and change rooms available. Lifeguard on duty. Pet friendly!
