This is about a 15-20 minute drive towards Big Sky in Gallatin Gateway. It’s an old time bar and restaurant with a very Montana cowboy flair. The food is excellent.

This is not too far from my house heading west on Valley Center Road. The restaurant is very cool with great food. Hopefully, they will continue each summer with something they have offered in the past: dinner on their large outdoor deck, live music (sometimes my good friends “Dos Mayos performing - say hi from Kristi 😀🎶) with fly fishing in their pond (gear and guides there to teach/offer tips) 🍻🎣

in that Big Sky area: Gallatin River fishing and floating (recommend you take a guided float trip -gets some good rapids), trail ride at Jakes (info on Jake’s next in my guide), golf at the Big Sky Public course (very fun 18 hole course), mountain biking at Lone Peak and dinner at The Corral (another cowboy bar restaurant with yummy food)

My idea of a great day in the Paradise Valley south of Livingston: fish 🎣 the Yellowstone, take a trail ride 🐴enjoy a wonderful dinner and then soak in their pool. Their brunch is good too, as well as the old time country bar with live bands on the weekend.
