Sightseeing
Pepperell Cove is within walking distance from my studio, so it's a great place to explore if you like to walk. There are a few nice restaurants, a place for an ice cream, a small market or a roof top deck for drinks, all overlooking the ocean and boats in the marina.

Pepperell Cove is within walking distance from my studio, so it's a great place to explore if you like to walk. There are a few nice restaurants, a place for an ice cream, a small market or a roof top deck for drinks, all overlooking the ocean and boats in the marina.
Fort Foster is a beautiful place right on the ocean, with lots of things to do. There are sandy and rocky beaches, a pier, light houses, place to launch kayaks, scuba diving, a play ground and lots of open spaces, with grassy knolls, all overlooking the ocean. Great place to spend the day. There is an entrance fee of $20 to get in.

Seapoint Beach is the closest beach to my studio. A great place to walk, or hang out at the beach. Be sure to walk all the way to the point, where you will find another beach! They also allow you to have a fire right on the beach!

Food Scene
Chauncey Creek Lobster House is a classic place to enjoy a lobster sitting out on a deck, overlooking the water. You can even walk there! Byob, if you want to have a cocktail!
Warren's Lobster House is another great restaurant, right on the water in Kittery. Bistro 1828 is right down the street, within walking distance, at Pepperell Cove. Portsmouth has so many restaurants to choose from. Excellent place to walk around. There are lots of menus in the studio.
The next town north is York, where you will find several beaches (Long Sands Beach, Short Sands Beach, York Harbor Beach) with lots of restaurants, the famous Nubble Lighthouse, arcades, York Wild Animal Park and beautiful scenery.

This is a "must see" beach, if you love the ocean. Beautiful white sand beach with so many restaurants and bars. Also, be sure to check out Perkins Cove and the many restaurants there! There is the famous Marginal Way too!
