Barceloneta beach is 422 metres long and is one of the oldest and most traditional in the city. It is a favourite amongst foreign visitors, and also youth groups and schools, who often use it for activities. An arcade runs the length of the top of beach. It accommodates the Espai de Mar (Sea Space) centre, a facility designed to facilitate access to the beach and marine environment through the inclusive practice of sport and leisure.

The Carmel Bunkers are located in the upper part of Turó de la Rovira. There is a good climb up to reach it, but is completely worth it as you can see some magnificent panoramic views of Barcelona.

Beautiful experience! The fountain is very impressive and the music genre changes every 15 minutes, which makes the hour pass by quickly. It gets very full, so if you want some sitting room, go as much as an hour before. There are many street vendors that swarm in, selling overpriced water and beer, but just ignore them (a must in Barcelona in general!)

Food scene

A new snack bar concept. A new version of the typical seafood beach restaurant right on the shore line, facing the Barceloneta with a menu focused mainly on seafood rices, (paellas) fresh appetizers and salads. Terrace with spectacular views of the sea and the city. Simple cuisine, with highest quality, fresh ingredients. Rices and salads are the specialties, along with the fresh catches of the day or the beef steaks cooked on
