The museum is home to the boards and/or memorabilia of many famous surfers such as Donald and Guy Takayama, Bethany Hamilton, Kelly Slater, and Greg Noll. Restaurants and shops! Pick up souvenirs from Oceanside at the Harbor and grab a bite to eat from places like Joe's Crab Shack or Rockin' Baja Lobster. You can also access the beach just south of the jetty through the harbor.

The Oceanside Municipal Fishing Pier is one of the longest piers on the west coast - at 1954 feet! Take a stroll along the wooden planks. Hang out with pelicans and gulls and get a bird's eye view of the surfing below you. A fun walk!

The Top Gun House is the home used in the popular movie Top Gun. It is the house in which Tom Cruise's and Kelly McGillis' characters hung out. The house has been preserved, due to the pleas on many locals, on a stretch of land along N Pacific Street here in Oceanside. A new hotel was recently built around it.

Oceanside Strand is one of the more popular places to walk in the city. The Strand stretches 1 mile from just south of the pier and to the Pearl here at North Coast Village. It is perfect for walking, cycling, skateboarding, skating, or running. You can definitely drive up the strand, but keep in mind it is ONE WAY - in the north direction.

It is perfect for walking, cycling, skateboarding, skating, or running. You can definitely drive up the strand, but keep in mind it is ONE WAY - in the north direction.
This is a hidden gem in Oceanside. The Oceanside Museum of Art gets various exhibits throughout the year and also has a giftshop. Pick up stationary, trinkets, and other artistic finds at this point of interest.

There are two markets to be in town for when making plans to visit Oceanside. The Farmers Market which runs Thursday mornings from 9a-1p and the Oceanside Sunset Market, Thursday evenings from 5-9p. Both are year round and are located on Pier View Way.
