Reservations recommended on weekends, booked through Opentable. Carla is the owner, and splits her time between this restaurant and their nearby sister location, Little Lago.

Getting Around
An easy 10-minute walk from our place, the UW Link Light Rail station provides quick access to Capitol Hill, Downtown, and Sea Tac Airport. Fares range from $2.25 - $3.25. PRIOR to boarding, you MUST purchase a ticket from the vending machines, or swipe an ORCA card. ORCA cards must also be swiped after disembarking the Link Light Rail (no need to swipe again when exiting buses). Tickets and ORCA cards cannot be shared between riders; each must have their own.

A highway-adjacent bus stop about 5 minutes walk from our place. The westbound 545 bus line serves a lot of downtown, if there isn't a Link Light Rail station near your destination. Also served is the Eastside, including Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland. Don't try to get to Woodinville by bus.
Montlake Fwy Station
A highway-adjacent bus stop about 5 minutes walk from our place. The westbound 545 bus line serves a lot of downtown, if there isn't a Link Light Rail station near your destination. Also served is the Eastside, including Bellevue, Redmond, and Kirkland. Don't try to get to Woodinville by bus.
The Library is a great place to hang out with a book, but just in front of the entrance is the closest bus stop. A "Peak-Only" route, the 43 bus is the quickest way downtown on weekday mornings. 48 runs all day every day, but you'll need to make a transfer (at Madison St for Route 8 or 11, or Union St for Route 2) to get anywhere besides the Central District.

Open dusk to dawn every day, free to the public. Great paths for jogging and walking, or plenty of benches to just sit and enjoy nature. On the shores of Lake Washington, this 230-acre preserve features a dynamic assortment of plants, some found nowhere else in the Northwest. Take a walk through the Arboretum and discover this beautiful living collection. There is a Japanese garden (fee required) at the South end.

Cactus is a great Mexican place with a Strawberry Rhubarb Margarita that I could drink all day. Bing's is also a go-to for brunch.
