The absolute favourite vietnamese street-food bistro in the city!
Always authentic, spicy and fragrant food with fresh herbs and vegetables.
Very small place with only a few tables, but worth waiting even if there is no free place immediately.

The best home made ice cream in town.
They have several shops in the city, but this is nearest, just a 7 minutes walk from the flat.
They have a huge variety of ice cream flavors , some of them very different from what one is used to, but even the "simple" chocolate cone is made from Ecuadorian chocolate, the mango is like real mango etc.
If you are vegan, or prefer sugar free sweets, this is a place where you can find your way as well.

A friendly, cozy place in downtown Budapest, where you can feel like at home. Dishes are perfect. Kids and pets are also welcome:) They have probably the nicest and coolest waiters and waitreeses in the city.

the most delightful pastries in the city; try out "le pain au chocolat pistache" and/or "Le croissant aux amandes" - my personal favourites
A good option (although a bit pricy) for your breakfast as well or for buying bread or some croissants and take home.

If you are interested in Art Nouveau / Secession, this is a must see place. Even if you don't visit the museum, it's worth doing this short 9 minutes walk from the apartment, and just have a look at the beautiful building.
