There are some rocks just offshore which can be hard to navigate when the tide is low, so I suggest beach shoes. The water is also pretty shallow. Great place for bird watching and walking trails.

Hammock Park is a natural area with trails, boardwalks, butterfly garden, disc golf course, picnic area and playground. You can easily bike or walk there from here. You’ll see lots of birds, perhaps even an owl or an eagle.

At nearly 40,000 square feet, DFAC houses five galleries, 15 studio classrooms, the Gallery Gift Shop, the Palm Cafe and the DLM Children's ART Museum. The Tampa Bay Times says that DFAC is "the artistic equivalent of a village square," offering quality experiences to people of all ages.
