This fish market & casual restaurant, owned by Seattle natives, offers some of the best seafood in Seattle. Their Poke is the best I've had, and brings us back every week. Try the salmon or tuna poke (marinated raw fish), and get a lobster pasta salad or one of the super-tasty purple mini-cheesecakes (made with traditional Philippino purple yams ("Ube") - so so good. They close at 6pm, so they make a great lunch (or early-pickup dinner) option.

Raconteur is a cute little spot tucked within a bookstore, with lots of wood beams and light. If you're looking for a place where you can walk in and sit down immediately for brunch, this is a good bet - and still tasty. One of our favorite dinners in Seattle, this Malaysian place is quirky, cozy, and absolutely delicious. Located in Capitol Hill, you can put your name on the waiting list and go to one of the neighboring bars to enjoy a drink while you wait. The pineapple & toasted shrimp salad (Kerabu), roti, and Malaysian fried rice (nasi goreng) are some of our favorites, but you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

The water's edge is lined with grassy areas for lounging and swimming. There's a big children's playground with zipline as well. One of our favorite local parks!
