This busy dine in/take away Molly's sitting pretty only metres away from two caravan/leisure parks and other overnight accommodation and approximately 500 metres from West Strahan beach. Offering basic fried food and pizza slices etc.

Tracks on Point is a licensed café located in the heritage train station in the seaside village of Strahan on the west coast of Tasmania. As well as being a cafe and gift shop, we are also the departure point for the River and Rainforest journey and Queenstown Explorer experience for passengers of the West Coast Wilderness Railway; one of the west coast’s most popular attractions.

As well as being a cafe and gift shop, we are also the departure point for the River and Rainforest journey and Queenstown Explorer experience for passengers of the West Coast Wilderness Railway; one of the west coast’s most popular attractions.
While Strahan village is a place to stay, it's the spectacular view from the restaurant and bar high on the hill overlooking the picturesque village of Strahan and bay that will delight you. Tasmania’s finest and freshest seafood served up along with that magnificent view overlooking Macquarie harbour. View 42° Restaurant & Bar utilises local products from its pristine surrounding environment to create sumptuous meals for breakfast and dinner.
They do a fine, very reasonably priced seafood buffet in summer months so check before you go. Bookings essential in high season.
But if you just want to take in the views, sunsets in the natural surrounds, head up there for a drink on the deck (heaters are in use when it's colder). The view is unbeaten.
Secret tip - you don't have to walk all the way up those steep stairs, you can drive up the hill and park in the motel car park behind the restaurant/bar.
