Hands down, this is the best tapas bar I've ever eaten in, anywhere. They don't take bookings; so arrive early and wait for a free table, or shelf, but do eat here if you can.

Superb value Eastern European restaurant. Book ahead on 0161 881 1442, and take your own drinks. It's hard to fault this place.

Confusingly, there's no grilled meat to be had here (the name's the legacy of a former life); arguably the best coffee roasters, grinders, and baristas in Chorlton, with tables inside and out. Head to Costa a few doors down if you're uncomfortable with an informal indie vibe.
