It is crucial as part of your New York Experience to say that you have walked across the Brooklyn Bridge. Otherwise you’re just missing out.
I recommend starting your walk in Brooklyn and walk into Manhattan. The views are absolutely some of the best pictures you will have of the city.

This lovely Lady is so iconic not only to New York, but to all of the United States. She is some distance away from my home, but worth the time to go down and pay her a visit.
Tours are offered daily to the island for about $25 per person but if you are rushed for time or don’t want to spend the money it is also good to just go down and take pictures of her from Manhattan for free.

Who hasn’t heard of Times Square? Again this is another of NYC’s biggest attractions to see. It is very very crowded and most full of tourists. While it is the backdrop for our New Year’s Celebrations, it is primarily the home to nearly all the major Broadway Theaters and shows.

Greenwich Village is a really nice and popular area for tourists and locals to go and visit. This area is right around the corner from NYU’s campus. The neighborhood is full of young artists with tons of hidden gems on every block. Food, nightlife, Jazz clubs, and boutique shopping are all things that make this area great.

The Name says it all. If you are wanting to sample some of the best Asian cuisines definitely go here. I would research a specific place before coming down here as it could be difficult to choose once you are in the neighborhood with so many little side streets to distract you.

Parks & Nature
This is probably one of the most famous Parks known all over the globe. There are so many different areas to this incredible park it is hard to pick a favorite. One can really spend an entire day just walking around the park and seeing endless picturesque views of the city. The park also hosts many year round activities including free concerts, theater events, rowing, and ice skating.
Central Park is home to many attractions, including the Met Museum, Central Park Zoo, Bethesda Plaza, The Delacorte Theatre, and many more.
