Bristol Brewing, Great drinks at the Principals office and amazing baked goods at the old school bakery. This space was converted from an Elementary school and has an amazing patio, it's dog friendly and has lots of local music and events. Great way to spend an afternoon.

Beautiful drive out Canon City. Great location - The Abbey Grounds are beautiful and the view of the wet mountains is pretty spectacular. During the summer months, they also have a local farmers market with amazing produce :D

This is one of the better restaurants in town - great if you're looking to splurge or to do some celebrating - the resturant overlooks Colorado Springs and their signature tableside pepper tree steak is FABULOUS!

One of my favorite places to visit. Happy Apple, well, it makes you HAPPY. Happy Apple is an active farm where you can pick apples and berries during the summer months. Amazing apple cider - and pumpkin picking from the pumpkin patch in the fall. Pretty drive to Penrose and the family that runs the farm are gracious and friendly and just so much fun to visit with! I love this place
