Food Scene in Canton
Whilst wider Cardiff has some great spots to eat, Canton has been on the raise as a food heavyweight and has a mouthwatering selection just a short walk from the house.
Plenty of restaurants all along Cowbridgeroad east, lots of variety and choice. A good option if you dont want to go into town.
Now the change of names scared me to, but having been back countless times since Stanleys was hung on the door, I can assure you nothing has been lost. Probably my faviourate place to eat in Cardiff.

Loads of great spots to grab a drink in Cardiff, and you can't really go wrong in the throws of an event in the city, when everywhere is busy!
But for the days without international sport in the centre a few spots not to be missed...
Tiny place but packed with charm, serving great local beers which are everchanging so no two nights are the same. For the gin fans they have a great gin shed also centering around Welsh gin.
Some week nights (usuallyThursdays) they also host local food pop ups which are a great way to try some fantastic grub.
