Love hiking and coffee? You've found the right place. We have over 300 waterfalls around Brevard and searching different trail websites gets confusing to try and pick which one to visit, so I will make it easy, we’ll visit three of my personal favorites along a 3.5 mile loop. The terrain is mostly even, gravel trail with two steep sections (about 70 yards) that will get your heart pumping, but the views are worth the climbs. To me there's nothing better than slowing down to appreciate the moment in nature with a great cup of coffee (and new friends!). On this hike you will try my locally roasted coffee medium roast, called "Trail Magic". I recently hired the best hiking guides in WNC and we can't wait to lead you on a coffee hike! Here's our plan. 1. We will meet at The Hooker Falls parking area in DuPont State Forest, and hike to Hooker Falls. Here we'll break to brew and share coffee together. You'll learn how to make coffee in the woods including how to filter water from the waterfall. 2. We'll head to Triple Falls. It's up a steep climb but we will take our time and the view is totally worth it. 3. After some pictures of Triple Falls, we'll keep hiking on to High Falls, a stunning end to our adventure. We will provide the proper personal protection equipment for this day. We ask you wear clothing suitable for a farm, pants, closed toe shoes ect... We have a closed observation hive we will go through first to get you comfortable around bees and what to expect before going into a full hive. Light the smoker and jump on in! This is where we get to see all of the workings of the Colony. We will explain all that is going on and if we are lucky we will spot the queen! Pictures with your new friends! We will enter the Ashley River using a kayak launch that allows easy entry into the water without getting wet. We will travel upstream at a leisurely pace exploring the beautiful scenery usually seeing blue heron, turtles, alligators and much more. Depending on your skill level, we can travel as far as you would like. Less than a mile upstream is Colonial Dorchester Historic Site and another mile is my secret location where in June of 2021, I found over 30 shark teeth!! Depending on the tide, it may be possible to float back to the kayak launch where we will easily come out of the water without getting wet.

When you book a surf lesson you have the option to do a solo lesson or a group lesson if you have more people in your party. Each lesson is 90 minutes long. We will meet on the beach at the time of your lesson and will begin with a 15-20 minute land lesson where I will go over everything you need to know before even stepping foot in the water. For example, we will go over positioning, paddling, how to pop-up on your surfboard. We will end the land lesson by going over safety protocols. There are many dangers the ocean poses especially to those not familiar with it. After I answer any questions there might be we will proceed into the ocean! We will walk our boards down to the water line and put the leash on our ankle. I will discuss currents and ask the students to point out any noticeable currents in the water if there are any present and obstacles. Next we will walk out into the water carrying our boards. Once the water is about waist deep you will hop on your surfboard and begin paddling out. While in the water, I will be right by the students side for the duration of the lesson. After each wave, I will provide feedback that will help the students understand what they are doing wrong and right. By the end of the lesson everyone should have successfully rode a wave!

When visiting Charleston there is so much to do for eating, drinking and walking around for tours. But what about when you have kids? What about when you want to do something more active? Well Surfing is an option but it’s so hard to just pickup and do!! And waves aren’t always good. What I bring to the tourism community is Charleston eSurf an electric surf board that hovers above the water with a fin attached to the board. ANYONE can learn to do this and it’s an experience you can find only near water and there is so much of it in Charleston we’re willing to meet and do lessons all across Charleston relative to where you’re staying. The lesson is 1-2 hours long depending on how much you booked for! Lesson/Rental Plan: -Before the lesson begins get to know group and understand where they’re from and give great recommendations to Charleston -First subtle stretching and safety instructions -then beginning steps of how to get up in the board. Practice 15 minutes then work on speed while you’re up Then work on carving and turning with the board. Then work on turning with speed and mastering the board. The whole time we have a photographer taking pictures of the whole experience to capture memories you won’t forget!

We will enjoy a cruise through the salt marshes of one of Charleston’s most scenic rivers. We will visit Morris Island, an uninhabited barrier island. You will have a breathtaking view of the famous Morris Island Lighthouse. If you wish, you may take a leisurely stroll on the beach to search for sea shells and sharks teeth. During our tour you will see a wide array of local wildlife including the Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin. Bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink. (BYOB) Also feel free to bring music as well! Trivia Tour is an hour and a half walking tour which covers approximately 1.5 miles at a gentle walking pace with plenty of opportunities to sit on a park bench, take pictures, and explore Savannah. Trivia Tour engages participants through exciting trivia questions about the city of Savannah's: history, haunting's, economic development, movie scenes, famous Savannians, and geography. Trivia questions and answers will be given throughout the tour and concludes with a bonus round at the end of the tour. Just like in the classroom, a prize will be given to the contestant with the most points. This tour takes place entirely within historic Colonial Park Cemetery. We’ll start by discussing Savannah’s first cemeteries and the eventual move to this location. You’ll see the oldest and newest tombstones still existing in the cemetery. We’ll also explore the graves of famous residents, including some true American heroes, and talk about a few unusual causes of death. This tour wouldn’t be complete without viewing tombstones vandalized by Sherman’s soldiers. We’ll tie it all up with the closing and demise of the cemetery, as well as a more recent true story of how some of its inhabitants accidentally reappeared. This tour will last approximately forty (40) minutes.

Join us for an immersive group glassblowing lesson at Blown Studios in Savannah, GA! This unique experience allows you the opportunity to get hands on creating your own original piece of glass art! You class also includes a tour of the Hot Shop and Gallery, followed by an overview of the tools and equipment used in the glassblowing process. After the studio tour you will choose your item and colors from our menu, then work one-on-one with a professional glassblower to create your piece! We'll meet you on Wilmington Island, just 15 minutes from downtown Savannah and raise sail in the Wilmington River. You can sit back and relax or learn how to sail and take control under the guidance of your knowledgeable and friendly captain. While I can't guarantee dolphins, gorgeous sunsets, or new friends, the odds are certainly in our favor. The wind will fill the sails and gently push us along as you soak in beautiful views of the islands and marshes that make the Lowcountry so special. This is a truly unique experience that will get you off the beaten path and give you a taste of Savannah from a local's perspective! If we're not able to sail due to the weather, we'll try to reschedule for a time that fits your schedule. If that's not possible you will receive a full refund. But, don't worry too much, as we only have to cancel a very small percentage of our sails. If you don't see any availability that fits your schedule, just send me a message and I'll try and set something up for you! Is this a walking brew tour with a side of ghosts or a ghost tour with a side of brews? While guests will have to decide on that, we can tell you this is not an average "sit there and shut up " tour, but rather an opportunity to engage back and forth with a 7th gen. local. As a combined bar and ghost tour guests will start out at a local Irish pub where an appetizer will be provided complimentary and guests can order some delicious cocktails or beers (yes the Guinness is on tap ) while the guide goes over the basics of local history and the ghosts present in the City of Charleston. From there guests will walk by several historic graveyards and alleyways to hear in-depth stories of local ghosts and spirits such as the notorious BOO-HAG which is only known to Charleston. Guests will begin to understand why/how ghostly activity can take place after particular circumstances of love, tragedy, and horror. Eventually the group will make its way over to the relative safety of another bar. The tour will wind down at a hauntingly beautiful local park to hear about one of the first female serial killers. Enjoy a one-of-a-kind hike in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains with our friendly llamas! Hikers will learn about our famous llamas' interesting histories and how to safely handle the animals before heading out on a hike with gorgeous mountaintop views on our private trails. Each group gets 1 to 3 loveable llamas to share, depending on group size. There’s plenty of time for llama cuddles and, of course, llama selfies! This moderate hike is around 1 mile long and does require requires walking uphill on rocky and sometimes slippery terrain. This experience lasts approximately an hour and a half. Guests should wear comfortable, closed toed shoes. We need a minimum of 4 hikers to book and may contact you about rescheduling if we do not have enough bookings. Please note: This event takes place in Eastern Standard Time.

Once you arrive at the stables you will have a chance to meet the horses and introduce yourself. Once your comfortable with your horse on the ground you will be able to mount the horse and learn a few ques (stop, walk, turning) before heading out on the trails. Your trail boss will guide you threw wooded and open trails to enjoy nature from horseback. To relax and destress from everyday life and just enjoy the moments with friends and family on a relaxing horseback ride.
