Overlooking Hobart, don’t miss the towering 1271m Mount Wellington with 360 degree views. It is a short drive from Hobart city and tourist buses also visit. It can be cold on the peak so make sure you take a jacket cos you might need it. There are great tracks for mountain biking or bush walking.

“Approx Half an hour south of Hobart is Kettering where you catch the ferry to Bruny. Can do it in a day but overnight preferable so you are not rushed. Bruny has great walks, beaches and a winery, cheesery and chocolate shop. ”
