THE PANTRY CREST offers Czech and German classics as well as delightful appetizers, burgers, salads, and flatbreads. Award-winning desserts are worth saving room for. The full bar serves signature cocktails, imported beers, microbrews, and wine. All Night Happy Hour every Monday! I know it's not German, but the Lasagna is a must try.

The Pantry is known for Czech and German cuisine and street food, as well as really tasty cocktails. All of this magic is served up inside a historic American Foursquare home that has been converted into a bar/restaurant in the charming Hillcrest Historic District. The "truffled deviled eggs", charcuterie, and pommes frites are terrific appetizers, and the schnitzel and lasagna are to die for. For vegans and vegetarians, they have a special menu, with terrific "vegetable lesco" which is a sizzling skillet of potato and tomato and blackened onion heaven. They tend to be open later than most restaurants, and they also offer an outdoor patio that is always a treat to visit.

Call for reservation. Very small and intimate. Great food and atmosphere for that special dinner.
