Looking for a bit of family fun? Check out Bay Mountain Park & Planetarium for a chance to reconnect with nature and it’s only 20 mins away. Check out the fireflies this summer with your kiddos at their newest event “Park after Dark.” This program will be starting on Saturday August 13th.

Bay's Mountain is awesome! They have pontoon boat rides, zip-lines, nature trails, animal habitats & displays, a planetarium, hiking, biking and fantastic views!

Parking is a bear to do at Bays, but well worth it if you like hiking, seeing animals in their natural habitat, riding a barge on the reservoir, and more. It cost $6.00/car to get in, with a few $$ to do some of the activities ($2-6.00). Walking around and seeing the animals is free. (I usually have a free pass - if you want to use it, just ask if I forget to tell you!)
