Open market ----- This market is held every Thursday & Saturday on Avenue du Saxe, which is a street that aims directly at the Eiffel Tower, so as you head down the aisle you always have a view of the tower. It has the usual assortment of cheese vendors, vegetable stalls, bakery, charcuterie type things, olives, dried fruits, several butchers, rotisserie chicken & rabbit, plus a couple of antique vendors, rug merchants, chair repair and caning, flowers and an assortment of clothing, linens, etc. Not usually real busy if you get there before 10. Everything you need to put together a great dinner of pic-nik.

Great open market place with fresh and quality produces on Saturdays. You can buy fruits, vegetables, cheese, ham, bread, pastries, meat, fish, chicken etc... Walking distance from the flat.
