A few miles south of downtown Freeport on route 1, the "Muddy" has decent food and nice water views from both inside, and out on its deck.

The Muddy Rudder has a large restaurant as well. But the bar is really nice and one that does stay open late. Located on the Royal River. Don't be concerned about the distance shown on the map. It's two miles away!

Quaint little restaurant with excellent Maine seafood. Great waterfront views as well. It is around 40 minutes away, 34 mile-drive. Is on the way to Portland.
