This is 45 minutes away in Hiwassee GA. The margaritas are great and you can sit outside overlook the lake. Next door is a bar you can go to if you are looking for night life on Lake Chatuge.

Good authentic Mexican food is less than a mile away. We love their chicken fajita salads with their fresh salsa instead of salad dressing.
