Our local fish store. This is how we buy fish. As fresh as you can find it (well, if you're not enjoying it right on the harbour) Try taking with you 'plokkfiskur' to heat up in the oven. You can even grab some ryebread which is perfect with butter as thick as the slice. They also have a small lunch restaurant open on week days.

This is a fishmarket type store, come here for lunch and get the best fish in Reykjavik and it's cheap!. Or buy some to cook at home. :)

The best fishmonger in town. Fresh fish and marinated and ready to cook dishes. They also have a small lunch restaurant where you get their freshest fish prepared by the owner who is accomplished chef. $
