Overall great selection of Japanese food. Rather than traditional, it's leaning toward fusion. They have horse meat if you are into such a thing (I know it's not for everybody but FWIW).

Traditional and delicious Japanese cuisine. A very good place to eat that is warm and cosy in winter. Groups also can get a private dining booth/area. One of my favorites in Hakuba for real Japanese cuisine and a more fine dining experience. It does get very busy though so bookings are recommended.

A nice little Izakaya. Try the Fermented Squid Intestines with Mascarpone for a very amazing taste sensation! Sounds gross, but it's amazing!!
