Right outside our back door, this is a biking and walking trail that spans from Lake Washington all the way to the Pacific Ocean (about 20 miles of railroad grade pathway). You can take it to get to UW--about a 2 mile trip--or University Village.

The Burke Gilman—great trail network to bike, run or walk on. Close ride to Fremont, Gas Works Park and University of Washington. All good places to spend some time. Accessible by foot or by using the electric rent-a-bikes or scooters you’ll see all around. Different companies have different bikes—yellow, green and orange. Lime bike is our favorite.

Rent a Lime bike near University Village and enjoy heading north around Lake Washington. Very easy flat path with great views of the lake and lots of places to stop to grab a bite or have a refreshment.
