Florida's Apalachee-Spanish Living History Museum A visit to Mission San Luis transports you to year 1703. If you want to get out without having to get in the car, you're in the right spot! Just head out the door and turn left, cross San Luis Road and enter any of the walking trails. There is a trail map if you cross into the park at the sidewalk entrance and continue down the path. San Luis has a nice size lake where you can view several species of birds and always lots of turtles. There are rumored to be some beavers and foxes living in the area as well. Please leave no trace and pick up your trash.
