Excellent dinners are served select nights in the lodge, and a fun community event is taco night is Tuesdays with live music.

Awesome nordic ski trail network that connects to Craftsbury nordic trails via the Highland Lodge trail. For easy access to the trails, park at the Town Hall at the bottom of Baker Hill Rd. In the summer, take a hike up the Mossy trail which begins behind Highland Lodge and connects up to the Barr Hill Trails.

Such a great spot! Thursday, Friday and Saturdays, their kitchen and bar is open to everyone. Gorgeous view of Caspian Lake with a large porch to sit on and relax. Also, super fun games and ping pong in the back room!

One of my favorite local hangouts is the Highland Lodge. In the summer, they have food trucks through out the week. One of my favorite summer activities is Margarita Monday at the Highland Lodge fro 5-9. This is the best of Vermont's local scene and I highly recommend participating! In the winter, they have a very cozy bar and serve up a limited, but lovely menu. The views of Caspian Lake from the front porch on a warm summers evening, are what many of my favorite summer memories have been made of.
