They also do food, but you come here for the cocktails. Big, comfy seats set in the vaults of the city. A great place for a quiet drink to round of an evening.

A beautiful bar and restaurant down one of the closes off the Royal Mile. Look out for the archway of fairy lights at the end of the close, as it's easily missed, but well worth taking the time to find.

A quiet bar down a hidden Close crowned with twigs. It does food as well as drinks. A bit pricey but can be an immediate relief from the madness of the mile.
