The New England classic Ocean State Lob Lot is the odd lot store all the locals frequent for deals and unique finds. You never know if they will have copper pans, fancy yarn or gallons of olive oil but its fun to check out. They regularly have in-season essentials like bathing suits, towels, water shoes, toys, sunscreen etc. so its a great alternative to Walmart.

One word: random You never know what you will find, but the price is always right. I shop here specifically for beach gear, and gluten free/specialty ingredients. Big Selection of Bob's Red Mill products, for example. No refrigerated section, but dry goods galore.
