DANTE'S HOUSE MUSEUM: Dante's House Museum is located in one of the oldest parts of the historical center of Florence, in Via Santa Margherita (the church of Santa Margherita de Cerchi is the place where Dante met Beatrice for the first time) and actually, it is not inside the original Alighieri's house but it incorporates other buildings, such as the Giuochi's tower (Giuochi's family were Dante's neighbours). The real houses of the Alighieri family were apparently on the right side of Castagna Tower but today there are no traces of their medieval appearance. Inside the museum you will experience multi sensory paths guided with the most advanced technologies, such as virtual tours, in order to learn more about the life and works of the great Florentine poet and father of the Italian language.
