Outstanding Bar (Macq 01) with waterfront views and a great atmosphere

Outside the hotel on the waterfront you will see life size bronze statues dedicated to the women convicts who arrived in Old Hobart town. The ships listed who brought them here under the harshest conditions. We find it very moving.

MACq01 is a must! It's down on the wharf, very new but designed like an old warehouse and it's won lots of awards as a hotel and restaurant. But you can just go down there and have a coffee, wine or a Tassie G&T and sit in their gorgeous lounge and look at the view. Very special.
