Biddenden is also a local vineyard which is family owned, it is much smaller than Chapel Down but well worth a visit. Gusbourne Vineyard is also worth a visit and local.

Approx 45 minute drive but well worth it if you fancy tasting some English sparkling wines.

Kent is becoming famous for vineyards with thousands of acres being planted every year. On the best is Biddenden and they offer tours and a great restaurant.
