“Casa Milà, popularly known as La Pedrera (meaning “stone quarry” in Catalan), is Antoni Gaudí’s last civil work, which he started in 1906 and finished in 1912. Although Antoni Gaudí was particularly well known for his modernist phase, this work is considered “modern”. Included in the World Heritage List in 1984, along with Park Güell and Palau Güell, it was one of the first places of the industrial era to be added to the list of the most exceptional sites in the world. Its nickname, “La Pedrera”, refers to its external appearance, where stone has been used as a key material for the design of the façade and the balconies.”

“El Nacional is the gastronomic experience of Barcelona. A multi-space with 4 restaurants and 4 bars under the same modernist roof in the heart of Paseo de Gracia. This unique and historical place is based on the best gastronomy of the peninsula: local recipes and products that enhance the most authentic parts of our culture. La Braseria is the best corner for meat lovers. Its charcoal embers stand out. La Llotja will delight connoisseurs of fish, rice and seafood. La Taperia is a restaurant serving tapas as well as small hot and cold dishes in a comfortable and informal setting. La Parada is focused on high end delicatessen fast food with local and healthy products such as salads, artisanal cakes and healthy bowls. You can’t miss the 4 bars of El Nacional: the wine bar, the beer bar, the oyster bar and the cocktail bar. A must see and a great meeting point in Barcelona. Open every day from 12 pm to 1 am.”
