Beautiful unspoilt region of Portugal. 40 mins South of Lisbon. Many superb golf courses, beaches and restaurants. Outstanding wine region. Fabulous coastal views.

Setubal is a working fishing town centred around the main harbour and the good beaches of the region are either a short bus, ferry or drive away.

The best non turistic restaurants of the country with special fresh fish and sea food are in Setúbal. Close to the ferry boat point there many of them. I reccomend all of them. Best "choco frito" of the whole world

Setubal is an old nice city by the sea where fishing is the commun activity. You can go there to have lunch or dinner and taste the incredible `marisco` . I totally recommend grelhed fish or Choco frito :)

This pleasant city is the capital of district. Serves ferries to visit Troia, a spectacular peninsula facing Setubal touching Rio Sado with miles of sandy nearly empty beaches. Must eat: Choco frito!
