One of Glasgow's oldest and most popular public parks, home to a diverse range of wildlife and habitats - a green oasis of 85 Acres within a busy city.
Classic example of a Victorian park, designed by Sir Joseph Paxton, and which measures 34 hectares (85 acres). Its set on the banks of the River Kelvin, and is (in my opinion) the best park in Glasgow. Depending on time of day / year, you may find joggers, cyclists, students, dog walkers, skaters…
This park surrounds the art museum and is also located near Glasgow University. This is a great place to head for a lovely stroll and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
