Get a sense for the history of the ax factory, and this area with period exhibits of a typical wedding, barber shop, and general store. The third floor is home to the Farmington Railroad Society and has a wonderful period display of the area at its height.

A great little museum. If you like history or model trains, this is the place. 17 minute drive.

only open for a few hours on the weekends. here and see the story of the town. the scale model train set is a must-see.
