This is a vegetarian restaurant that could convince even the most ardent carnivore that plants are the way to go. Lots of great options even for the little ones. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I recommend grabbing a smoothie with your meal.

Extremely popular, delicious organic vegetarian restaurant. If you eat there, sit downstairs in the basement to check out the mural and atmosphere. This is also a good place to get work done if you don’t mind some background noise. In nice weather, a popular option is to order food to go and take it across the street to sit on the grass in front of Cambridge City Hall. You’ll see many people doing this when the weather is nice.

20 min drive - Essex St Salem - Awesome lightly steamed Veg Restaurant in downtown Salem. Good prices & quick service. Gotta love Life Alive! This place is super yummy. I always order the Green Goddess with extra sauce. Wheatgrass. Kombucha on tap. Fun atmosphere. Seated dining. Metered street parking or Parking lot next to YMCA.
