If you enjoy eating crab and would like to catch your own, next to the Fishermen's Wharf are boat docks where you can go crabbing. Grab a bucket, some crabbing nets and bait, and you can catch a ton of crabs for dinner. Oregon does have limitations on what kinds of crabs you are allowed to catch (and what sizes they have to be), so if you wish to go crabbing, please make sure to check this out beforehand. It's about a 35 minute drive from Lakeside, located in Charleston.
