The church is certainly worth a peek inside with it's ornate decor. It is also free unlike the attached Clerigos tower.

The Clerigos Church was built between 1735 and 1748 in Baroque style. It is crowned by the Clérigos Tower, which is one of the most emblematic monuments of the city. Clérigos Tower is the tallest tower in Portugal: its 76 meters high and over 200 steps give access to a privileged panoramic view of Porto.
