Ila Brainnstasjon is the local pub, within walking distance near the Ila Park. No need to dress up. They might have a local band or singer/songwriter. Local beers from really small breweries.

The cultural, warm and cosy bar in Trondheim. They have "Learn norwegian nights", stand up, conserts, poemnights and everything else. Good variaty of beer, and other refreshments. Close to the park in the summer, and you can sit outside:)
